Per @democracydocket lawyer Marc Elias Georgia is asking the DOJ to intervene in the midterms. Hegseth is firing top brass, and wrote in his book that the military should side against Democrats in a civil war if Dems took power. Trump’s advisors are openly calling for him to declare martial law at midterms. And ICE has been practicing how to disappear people quickly for a year and a half now.

All hope is not lost. If their power was secure they wouldn’t need to do any of this. They are only implementing these draconian measures because they are weak. They will need to steal the midterms in the open, because they cannot possibly win, and therefore you must vote. And their heavy handed actions WILL provoke an equally strong response from the people. Just like the spontaneous uprisings every-time ICE shoots someone.
