Palestine will be free. The people’s connection to their land runs deep, like the roots of the thousand year old olive trees planted by their ancestors 40 generations ago. And still, in the midst of occupation and daily attacks, the Palestinian people plant new trees for their descendents to enjoy. Palestine will be free. I don’t believe this. I know this in my heart, because I have witnessed the strength, resilience, and resolve of the Palestinian people. Their spirit is stronger than the opportunistic invader parasites that come from America, Europe, Russia, and other lands to occupy what isn’t theirs.
