clever title 😅 I opened this email faster than I could read who it was from because it was the headline I've been waiting for - and everything that followed it was so, so, so worth the read.

Your journey is very relatable and in a way, not an uncommon story, but each unique telling of this arch through life is equally impactful and vital. I've encountered many of the same lessons but it's something we each can only learn for ourselves - but/and - still is invaluable to read your account of it. Looking forward to reading more & eventually your book.

I can’t articulate how this post affected me. But the previous commenters pretty much hit it on the head. I was just completely absorbed into your world while reading. I am going to be presumptuous and say that I think you might want to read the story of Felix Hill, who went through the kinds of highs and lows that you have described here. Unfortunately, ketamine took him away from the world. He wrote an intense final letter to his friends and family that they posted as a Google doc. You can find it in my Substack post “Alexei and Felix.” I would be honored if you would subscribe (for free of course). Like anyone, I have an ego and would like to have more than 11 subscribers (several of whom I signed up without their knowledge!). I will buy your book, I promise!
