Summary: Robert Maxwell worked on behalf of Mossad to sell PROMIS software, the very first of its kind software which allowed governments and intelligence agencies to generate names and lists out of large datasets, a capability which did not exist before PROMIS. Oliver North(of Iran Contra) used PROMIS to “track dissidents and troublemakers within the United States” under Reagan.
Robert Maxwell’s daughter Christine Maxwell, Ghislaine Maxwell’s older sister, built “the FBI’s single largest repository of operational and intelligence information” after 9/11, creating the modern predecessor to Palantir.
And now a May 19th, 2026 article by investigative journalist Alisa Valdes-Rodriguez found that Epstein had a secure military-grade microwave communications device installed at Zorro Ranch in New Mexico located between Sandia and Los Alamos National Laboratories, two of the most highly classified scientific research facilities in the country.
The story is all quite unbelievable so I’ve laid out all my sources below, you can see for yourself. The reporting is solid, from reputable organizations and well-established journalists.
Read this for entertainment or out of curiosity, but don’t be fooled to think that this knowledge will help you materially resist the power structure that’s oppressing the world. This post I wrote about The Spectacle explains why I think much of what floods the internet now(including my own work) isn’t actually resistance, but rather just gives the aesthetic and catharsis of resistance.
I’m publishing this now to get it off of my mind, because I spent weeks working on it before the Iran war started and it feels like an unfinished project. The weeks researching and writing this hasn’t added anything of value to my life. It doesn’t give me inspiration, tools, or frameworks for resistance. It’s just more facts added to the pile of “crimes rich and powerful people have committed.”
Instead I’d recommend you read Capitalist Realism: Is There No Alternative by Mark Fisher. That will be much more beneficial in building the foundations of resistance.
Ghislaine Maxwell’s Sister, Christine Maxwell Built Databases for the FBI After 9/11
Chiliad Inc., known for developing intelligence and search software like the FBI’s Investigative Data Warehouse, was founded by Alan C. Wade (former CIA Chief Information Officer of 35 years) and Christine Maxwell (co-founder of the Magellan search engine).
Mr. Wade held a number of senior positions at the CIA, including Director of Security and Director of Communications. During his career, Mr. Wade’s contributions were recognized several times. He is a recipient of the National Intelligence Distinguished Service Medal, the Director’s Medal and the Distinguished Intelligence Medal.
Per the Electronic Frontier Foundation: The Investigative Data Warehouse is a massive data warehouse, which the Bureau describes as “the FBI’s single largest repository of operational and intelligence information.” As described by FBI Section Chief Michael Morehart in 2005, the “IDW is a centralized, web-enabled, closed system repository for intelligence and investigative data.” Unidentified FBI agents have described it “one-stop shopping” for FBI agents and an “uber-Google.” According to the FBI, “[t]he IDW system provides data storage, database management, search, information presentation, and security services.”
The FBI started working on the IDW in 2002, just months after 9/11 and it became operational in 2005. The IDW, built with the help of Christine Maxwell’s company Chiliad, was one of many big-data and data-mining initiatives pursued by the federal government after the Patriot Act granted the government broad authority to spy on its own citizens.
Just six weeks after the September 11 attacks, a panicked Congress passed the "USA/Patriot Act," an overnight revision of the nation's surveillance laws that vastly expanded the government's authority to spy on its own citizens, while simultaneously reducing checks and balances on those powers like judicial oversight, public accountability, and the ability to challenge government searches in court. https://www.aclu.org/documents/surveillance-under-usapatriot-act
Watch Christine Maxwell explain her company in this 2014 video:
It’s not a stretch to say that Chiliad is Palantir’s predecessor. From Maxwell’s video presentation: “But, the fact is that about 80% of all data available falls into a whole different realm. It’s information in the form of written content such as emails. It’s travel information. It’s Facebook and Twitter postings. It’s all unstructured content – just like the stuff we view everyday on the Web. What’s also interesting about this ‘everything else data’ is that 10 years ago we didn’t know it would exist to be collected because aps like Facebook didn’t exist.”
This is the Chiliad software and the database that they built for the FBI. “Chiliad nodes allow you to discover and analyze data at its source, within a single, continuous view. Chiliad software tames the biggest of big data, allowing you to find what you are looking for regardless of where it is or what it is.” This big-data is the foundation of Palantir and Chiliad. Palantir’s innovation is to use AI agents to collect and analyze this data, whereas Maxwell’s software still required human agents.
The FBI reported that Chiliad’s software reduced the time to process important counter-terrorism tasks from 32,000 hours to 30 minutes, saving the cost and time of 170,000 analyst hours over a four-month period, and representing a return-on-investment in productivity savings of 300 percent over the first four months of use. 2008 Business Wire article.
Robert Maxwell
The St Louis Post Dispatch article has been corroborated via Politico.
Robert Maxwell was born in Czechoslovakia in 1923. During WW2 he escaped the Nazi occupation and fought with the Czechoslovak Army in exile. After the war he built a publishing empire, served six years as a Labour MP, spied for various nations, laundered money, and was found dead in 1991 after mysteriously falling off his luxury Yacht named the “Lady Ghislaine.” After his death auditors discovered that Robert had siphoned off $1.2 billion from businesses and pension funds that he controlled.
Robert Maxwell had nine children, including Ghislaine and Christine. Ghislaine has always maintained that her father did not commit suicide, but was murdered. “One thing I am sure about is that he did not commit suicide. I think he was murdered.” The most prevalent conspiracy around Robert Maxwell’s death is that he tried to extort Mossad for money to cover his debts, threatening to reveal the work he had done for them, and was thus silenced.
PROMIS, “A Spy Scandal That’s Already Rocked the Whitehouse”
To give you a 30,000ft overview, the DOJ conspired with Israeli intelligence to steal Inslaw Inc.’s PROMIS software and use it to spy on enemies and allies all around the world. The software was modified with a secret backdoor, allowing U.S. and Israeli intelligence to access any computer system on which it was installed. Robert Maxwell sold the software to foreign governments at the behest of Rafi Eitan, a Mossad operative. By selling this compromised version to dozens of foreign governments and intelligence agencies, Mossad and the CIA gained unprecedented access to the most sensitive law enforcement and intelligence databases of both their adversaries and allies.
PROMIS was pioneering software. It allowed governments and intelligence agencies to track terrorists, criminals, and anyone else they wanted to monitor using computer databases, a revolutionary concept in the 80s. Robert Maxwell sold this software to governments around the world at the behest of Mossad. His daughter Christine Maxwell created Chiliad, building electronic big-data warehouses for the FBI after 9/11. Her sister Ghislaine Maxwell was the criminal co-conspirator with Jeffrey Epstein. Epstein and Peter Thiel exchanged over 2,200 e-mails and met multiple times between 2014 and 2017. Peter Thiel co-founded Palantir and is the second largest shareholder with 7.4%, with the Vanguard group owning 9.4% and BlackRock owning 4.7%.
There’s so much more to the story. There’s a 2024 four-part Neftlix documentary called American Conspiracy: The Octopus Murders. The first three episodes give a nice overview of the Inslaw saga, however the fourth episode the filmmakers explain it all away as unreliable witnesses and suicide despite the overwhelming amount of evidence against various intelligence and government officials.
This news segment was published by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation in 1991. The whole thing is worth watching but the first three minutes gives you the broad details of the scandal.
1993 Wired Article: Software piracy, conspiracy, cover-up, stonewalling, covert action: Just another decade at the Department of Justice
The House Judiciary Committee lists these crimes as among the possible violations perpetrated by “high-level Justice officials and private individuals”:
>> Conspiracy to commit an offense
>> Fraud
>> Wire fraud
>> Obstruction of proceedings before departments, agencies and committees
>> Tampering with a witness
>> Retaliation against a witness
>> Perjury
>> Interference with commerce by threats or violence
>> Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) violations
>> Transportation of stolen goods, securities, moneys
>> Receiving stolen goods
Designed as case-management software for federal prosecutors, PROMIS has the ability to combine disparate databases, and to track people by their involvement with the legal system. Hamilton and others now claim that the DOJ has modified PROMIS to monitor intelligence operations, agents and targets, instead of legal cases.
The two men studied six photographs laid out before them. “Have you ever seen any of these men?” Merrill was asked. Immediately he singled out the second photo. In a separate line up, Hamilton’s secretary singled out the same photo.
Both said the man had visited Inslaw in February 1983 for a presentation of PROMIS, Inslaw’s bread-and-butter legal software. Hamilton, who knew the purpose of the line-up, identified the visitor as Dr. Ben Orr. At the time of his visit, Orr claimed to be a public prosecutor from Israel.
Orr was impressed with the power of PROMIS (Prosecutors Management Information Systems), which had recently been updated by Inslaw to run on powerful 32-bit VAX computers from Digital Equipment Corp. “He fell in love with the VAX version,” Hamilton recalled.
Dr. Orr never came back, and he never bought anything. No one knew why at the time. But for Hamilton, who has fought the Department of Justice (DOJ) for almost 10 years in an effort to salvage his business, once his co- workers recognized the man in the second photo, it all made perfect sense.
For the second photo was not of the mysterious Dr. Orr, it was of Rafael Etian, chief of the Israeli defense force’s anti-terrorism intelligence unit. The Department of Justice sent him over for a look at the property they were about to “misappropriate,” and Etian liked what he saw. Department of Justice documents record that one Dr. Ben Orr left the DOJ on May 6, 1983, with a computer tape containing PROMIS tucked under his arm.
What for the past decade has been known as the Inslaw affair began to unravel in the final, shredder-happy days of the Bush administration. According to Federal court documents, PROMIS was stolen from Inslaw by the Department of Justice directly after Etian’s 1983 visit to Inslaw (a later congressional investigation preferred to use the word “misappropriated”). And according to sworn affidavits, PROMIS was then given or sold at a profit to Israel and as many as 80 other countries by Dr. Earl W. Brian, a man with close personal and business ties to then-President Ronald Reagan and then-Presidential counsel Edwin Meese.
[note: the Rafael Eitan referred to in this Wired article is known as Rafi Eitan, and his name was incorrectly spelled as “Etian.” Rafi Eitan shouldn’t be confused with Rafael Eitan who is an altogether different person, also involved in Israeli intelligence.]
1992 Washington Post investigative piece: The Inslaw File:
“After the {bankruptcy court} trial was over, we began learning that that was the tip of the iceberg,” says Bill Hamilton. Asked what that means, the Hamiltons say they’ve been told that Promis has been used to track inventories of missiles; that the CIA installed Promis as a deposit tracking system in BCCI; and that many foreign governments have bought pirated copies.
And then, in their 15th Street office, be- hind soundproof glass doors, the Hamiltons assert that the ultimate use of Promis is far more sensitive than anything they once might have imagined:
“My sources won’t tell me what it is,” says Bill Hamilton, “but what they’ve explained to me is that the final use of the Promis software is so sensitive that its disclosure is a matter under the four statutory members of the National Security Council -- the president, the vice president, the secretary of state and secretary of defense. And I said, ‘You mean those four people are aware of the Promis software and Inslaw?’ And {the source} said, ‘Intimately aware.’ “
And what does he think is this “final use” of Promis?
“Monitoring American citizens,” Bill Hamilton says.
Robert Maxwell and PROMIS

The gallery above features screenshots taken from this FOIA made by Inslaw inc. regarding Robert Maxwell and his company Information on Demand. It shows secret, redacted FBI documents that employees at Sandia National Laboratories reported to the NSA their concerns that Robert Maxwell had purchased Information on Demand. It’s revealed in the article below that Christine Maxwell was the one who made the acquisition of Information on Demand on behalf of her father.
Christine is the stern one. She had been a primary-school teacher. but spent most of the Seventies and Eighties working for her father, latterly running the West Coast office of the educational and scientific divisions of Pergamon Press in the US. She was also involved in one of two of his software acquisitions, and in 1982 acquired one of the first information brokers, called Information on Demand, later renamed Research on Demand. https://www.tatler.com/article/tatler-archives-maxwell-family-interview
Robert Maxwell’s Introduction to PROMIS

The screenshots above are pages from the book Gideon’s Spies by Gordon Thomas.
The following excerpt is from this document, which was submitted to the Australian Parliament as part of an inquiry into the entire PROMIS scandal and provides a succinct summary of the relevant information in Gideon’s Spies.
Eitan said he learned about PROMIS from Earl Brian, an American businessman who had been secretary of health and welfare under California Gov. Ronald Reagan in the early 1970s. Eitan knew of Brian because of the American’s business trips to Iran in the 1970s.
According to Thomas’s book, Eitan invited Brian to Tel Aviv, where they met “several times.” Brian broached the subject of PROMIS software, which was already being employed by U.S. intelligence agencies.
Fascinated by the intelligence possibilities, Eitan brainstormed a plan to adapt PROMIS to Israeli intelligence needs. Eitan wanted to make PROMIS a cyber-age “Trojan Horse” that would glean secrets about Palestinian militants and political leaders from government files in Jordan and other nations.
Eitan soon got a copy of PROMIS from the United States, according to Gideon’s Spies. Ben-Menashe claimed that he was instructed to arrange for the installation of a “trapdoor” or a “built-in chip” to permit the secret downloading of data.
Eitan’s next task was to find a front company to sell PROMIS to Jordan. Since an Israeli company would not be trusted, “Earl Brian’s company, Hadron, made the deal,” Thomas wrote.
With PROMIS software installed in Jordan’s military intelligence headquarters, Thomas reported, Eitan’s strategy paid off in the downloading of sensitive information about Israel’s adversaries.
“PROMIS could track a terrorist’s every step,” Thomas wrote. He called Eitan’s project an intelligence “breakthrough” that enhanced his stature as “a powerful figure in the Israeli intelligence community.” [In testimony, Brian denied a role in the PROMIS operation.]
Flush with success, Eitan decided to cast a wider net. Thomas reported that Eitan developed an ambitious plan to market PROMIS worldwide to Israel’s allies and enemies alike. For that operation, Eitan needed a front company with greater international reach. So, he turned to press magnate Robert Maxwell and his access to world leaders.
"The power of his newspapers meant that presidents and prime ministers were ready to receive him," an Israeli intelligence official told Thomas. Maxwell also had close ties to top Israeli leaders and a formal relationship with the Mossad, according to Gideon's Spies.
Soon, Maxwell was marketing the doctored software through Degem Computers, an Israeli company that Maxwell had purchased, Thomas reported. He added that Eitan's operation sold more than $500 million worth of PROMIS by 1989 to intelligence services in Australia, Great Britain, Canada, Guatemala, Poland, South Africa, South Korea and even the Soviet Union's KGB.
[From my research Inslaw believed that Robert Maxwell sold PROMIS through his company Information on Demand while Eitan reported to Thomas that Maxwell sold PROMIS through Degem Computers, a Tel Aviv based company. This discrepancy doesn’t change the broader truth that Maxwell was tasked by Mossad, through Eitan, to sell PROMIS and spread the spyware.]
Rafi Eitan
Rafi Eitan is probably most famous for leading the Mossad operation that captured Adolf Eichmann. Eichmann was living in Argentina with his family under assumed names and was renditioned to Israel by Eitan’s team in a covert operation. Eichmann stood trial and was executed for his crimes.
Eitan was also implicated in the Apollo Affair where highly enriched uranium was stolen from the U.S. Nuclear Materials and Equipment Corporation nuclear fuel plant. His NYT obituary states, “He was also suspected of being involved in the late-1960s disappearance of at least 100 pounds of highly enriched uranium from a nuclear fuel plant in the Pittsburgh area; many believed that the uranium was diverted to Israel to help its atomic bomb program.”
Eitan was the handler of Jonathan Pollard, an American born Israeli citizen who passed thousands of top-secret Naval documents to Israel. Because of Eitan’s involvement in this espionage the FBI issued an arrest warrant for him. He was never arrested. Pollard emigrated to Israel after spending 30 years in prison.
The following comes from a sworn statement given by the author of Gideon’s Spies, Gordon Thomas. I found it at IsraelLobby.org, oddly enough.
23. Rafi Eitan told me that he first heard about the PROMIS software in the 1970s from Earl W Brian when Rafi Eitan became acquainted with Earl Brian in the course of the latter's trips as a private businessman to Iran during the 1970s.
24. Rafi Eitan told me that later on, while visiting him in Tel Aviv, Earl Brian related his discovery of the fact that the US Department of Justice was already using a modified version of PROMIS for an application domain relating to the tracking of money laundering and other criminal activities and Earl Brian's anger over this discovery.
25. Rafi Eitan told me that Earl Brian's disclosures to him of the US Justice Department's use of a modified version of PROMIS to track money laundering, combined with Earl Brian's obvious determination to profit personally from any and all uses of modified versions of PROMIS, prompted Raft Eitan to conceive of a new world-wide use of a modified version of PROMIS - tracking terrorists - and to involve Earl Brian as a private businessman in the sale of this terrorist-tracking version of PROMIS.
26. Rafi Eitan told me that he thereafter obtained a copy of INSLAW's PROMIS software from Earl Brian and had a small team of fanner computer programmers from Israel's Lakam intelligence service modify this copy of PROMIS for Israel's new terrorist-tracking application domain.
28. Rafi Eitan described how the modified version of PROMIS included automated reasoning or artificial intelligence capabilities to help the anti-terrorism units of the various governments eliminate superfluous lines of enquiry and accumulate and correlate data at a speed and scale beyond human capability.
29. According to Rafi Eitan, Israeli intelligence also developed a special microchip for installation on each computer on which the modified version of PROMIS operated, and this microchip enabled Israeli intelligence to subvert the security system of the computer operating PROMIS so that Israeli intelligence could copy and download information about terrorists who were being tracked by the foreign governments.
30. Rafi Eitan told me that he arranged for Earl Brian, through Hadron, Inc., a US company controlled by Brian, to sell the version of PROMIS that Israeli intelligence had modified to the Jordanian military for use in tracking Palestinian terrorists, and that Israeli intelligence successfully copied and downloaded Jordan's intelligence information about terrorists through the use of the secret "trap door" microchip. 31. Subsequently, in May 1996, I asked a source of mine within Jordanian intelligence if that service had knowledge of this and the source indicated that there had been a strong suspicion of this within the service.
32. Rafi Eitan told me that Israeli intelligence decided to market this modified version of PROMIS throughout the world but realized that Earl Brian and Hadron lacked the resources to market FROMIS globally. Rafi Eitan told me that he therefore enlisted the assistance :: :he British publisher Robert Maxwell in the marketing and sales of the terrorist tracking version of PROMIS.
33. Rafi Eitan told me that Robe" Maxwell alone sold over $500 million worth of licenses to the version of PROMIS Israeli intelligence had modified for use in tracking terrorists, including licenses to Great Britain, Australia, South Korea, Canada, the Soviet KGB, Poland’s UB intelligence service, Guatemala and South Africa.
34. Great Britain used the terrorist-tracking version of PROMIS in Northern Ireland. Rafi Eitan told me that the British MI5 domestic security and intelligence service installed this terrorist-tracking version of PROMIS on computers located on British military bases in, Northern Ireland and used it to track Irish Republican Army terrorists. as well as Irish Republican political leaders such as Gerry Adams.
35. Rafi Eitan told me that Mossad specialists stationed at the Israeli embassy in Washington DC. exploited copies of PROMIS operating in unnamed departments of the US Government and in unnamed foreign embassies in Washington DC in support of Israeli intelligence objectives.
36. Rafi Eitan told me that the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) simultaneously with Robert Maxwell's sales of the version of PROMIS that Israeli intelligence had modified, itself distributed a version of PROMIS that the CIA had separately modified, and that the dollar value of the distributions of modified versions of PROMIS through the US, CIA was in addition to the over $500 million worth of PROMIS licenses sold by Robert Maxwell on behalf of Israeli intelligence.

The gallery above are screen-shots from the same sworn affidavit. I find the addendum to be especially interesting.
I therefore, telephoned Rafi Eitan at his home in a suburb north of Tel Aviv on 20 February 1999 to ask him whether it was true that the U.S. Justice Department had arranged for him to visit INSLAW under the guise of being a visiting public prosecutor from Israel and for the purpose of witnessing a demonstration of the version of PROMIS that the U.S. Justice Department was then about to steal from INSLAW. Without revealing the slightest embarrassment, Rafi Eitlin confirmed the essential facts in INSLAW’s account, including the fact that he had visited INSLAW’s offices under an assumed name and met with William A. Hamilton and other INSLAW staff while witnessing a demonstration of and briefing on the PROMIS software. Rafi Eitan further told me that he had taken a taxi from the U.S. Justice Department to INSLAW for the meeting.
Ari Ben-Menashe
The gentleman at 1:30 in the video above is Ari Ben-Menashe.
2023 National Post Article: Arms broker. Spy. Warlord lobbyist. The man who twists the world turns on Ottawa
Ben-Menashe was an early whistleblower to a secret America-to-Iran arms pipeline that used Israel as an intermediary. U.S. investigations consumed the rest of the decade. A government commission found the conspiracy was real and several officials were criminally indicted, including Lt.-Col. Oliver North and Defense Secretary Caspar Weinberger.
About the same time, another indictment filed in the United States made smaller headlines; against Ben-Menashe himself.
He had been quietly negotiating to sell three American-made military transport planes to Iran in 1989. The man on the other side of the deal wasn’t really an Iranian official. He was an undercover U.S. customs agent. Ben-Menashe spent almost a year in jail before he was acquitted at the end of a six-week trial. The jury accepted he acted on orders from superiors in Israel. His lawyer said it was part of the Iran-Contra machinery.
Feeling betrayed by government, Ben-Menashe started blabbing of other dirty deeds.
He claimed Republican leaders with Reagan’s campaign before he became president struck a secret deal with Iran to delay releasing American hostages who were being held in Tehran by Islamic revolutionaries until after the 1980 election. A delay would prevent incumbent Jimmy Carter from getting a boost just before the vote. In return, weapons would flow under Reagan.
According to Ben-Menashe, retired CIA operatives in the United States began to set up back channels to deal with the Iran crisis even before 1980. The first meeting, he says, took place in late 1979 at a Georgetown apartment, not long after the hostages were seized. “The whole thing didn’t start out as a scheme to delay the hostages,” says Ben-Menashe. It became that later on. At first it was normal undercurrent diplomacy. The motive was to arm the Iranians so they could fight the Iraqis.
In February 1980, Ben-Menashe says, Robert `Bud’ McFarlane, then an aide to Senator John Tower, and Earl Brian, a businessman who had been secretary of health in Reagan’s California cabinet, met highly placed Iranian officials in Teheran. In a sworn affidavit submitted by Elliot Richardson on behalf of one of his clients, a computer-software company called Inslaw, Ben-Menashe states that both McFarlane and Brian had a special relationship’ with Israeli intelligence, McFarlane having been recruited by Rafi Eitan, a legendary Israeli agent
The story of Inslaw and PROMIS is hard to believe, but it’s corroborated in so many places. These quotes come from the Congressional Record, Taskforce to Investigate Iranian Hostages 1980.
While there are conflicting versions of that week, all accounts share at least three key points: that William Casey was a pivotal figure at the sessions, that there was an agreement that the hostages would not be released prior to the election, and that Israel would serve as a conduit for arms. Ben-Menashe and others claim that George Bush attended one of the meetings that week.
I have been through more than ten hours of phone interviews with Ben-Menashe in which he's told stories that, if true, would rewrite the history of the Reagan-Bush era and bring down the Bush administration.
In 1991 Ben-Menashe fled to Australia and applied for asylum, declaring that he was under threat from the Israeli and United States governments. Of course, once he started talking, governments tried to discredit him.
We have interviewed three Iranians--one a former defense minister and two Teheran-based arms procurers for the Revolutionary Guards--who described working with Ben Menashe during his years in Israeli intelligence.
A Senior Israeli intelligence official confirmed that Ben Menashe had operated in Poland in 1985, when that nation was still a Soviet bloc country. Though the Israeli government says Ben Menashe never traveled on government business, his passports show dozens of foreign trips to countries in South and Central America as well as to Europe and the United States. High-ranking Israeli intelligence officials have told us this travel pattern would never have been tolerated if Ben Menashe did not have some government authority. Although we continue to look hard at Ben Menashe’s allegations, many simply have proven true. He is not as readily dismissed as both the New Republic and Newsweek think.
Robert Maxwell, Mossad Agent
2006 Independent article: Shortly before he died, a self-proclaimed former Mossad officer named Ari Ben-Menashe had approached a number of news organizations in Britain and the United States with the allegation that Maxwell was a long-time agent for the Israeli intelligence service.
Ben-Menashe also claimed that, in 1986, Maxwell tipped off the Israeli embassy in London that Mordechai Vanunu, the nuclear scientist later jailed for 18 years in Israel, had given information about Israel’s nuclear capability to The Sunday Times, then to the Daily Mirror. No news organisation would publish Ben-Menashe’s story at first, because of Maxwell’s famed litigiousness. But later an MP asked a question about the claims in the House of Commons, which meant that newspapers were able to report what had been said without fear of being sued for libel. Just days before he died Maxwell called the claims “ludicrous, a total invention”.
Ben-Menashe Credibility
Ben-Menashe was vetted by Pulitzer prize winner and New York Times journalist Seymour Hersh for his book The Samson Option: Israel’s Nuclear Arsenal and American Foreign Policy. Hersh is most famous for having reported the My Lai massacre. More recently, Hersh correctly reported that the U.S. would strike Iran with B2 bombers three days before the U.S. attacked Iranian nuclear bunkers.
Hersh found Menashe credible. Rafi Eitan also backed up Ben-Menashe’s credentials and experience.
Israeli leaders knew from debriefing legendary spymaster, Rafi Eitan, that Ben-Menashe had worked on some of Israel’s most sensitive projects, Thomas reported based on his own interviews with Eitan.
“Rafi Eitan [told his Israeli debriefers] that Ari Ben-Menashe was in a position to blow wide open the U.S./Israeli arms-to-lran network whose tentacles had extended everywhere: down to Central and South America, through London, into Australia, across to Africa, deep into Europe,” Thomas wrote. - From the PDF linked earlier that was submitted to the Australian Parliament.
Ben-Menashe also claimed knowledge of Israeli intelligence penetration of the U.S. government at top levels, Israel’s use of press magnate Robert Maxwell as a spy, and the distribution of rigged computer software to extract secrets from other governments.
Oliver North used PROMIS to “track dissidents and potential troublemakers within the United States”
The Inslaw Octopus, Wired, 1993: But a retired CIA official whose job it was to investigate the Inslaw allegations internally told WIRED that the DOJ gave PROMIS to the CIA. “Well,” the retired official told WIRED, “the congressional committees were after us to look into allegations that somehow the agency had been culpable of what would have been, in essence, taking advantage of, like stealing, the technology [PROMIS]. We looked into it and there was enough to it, the agency had been involved.”
How was the CIA involved? According to the same source, who requested anonymity, the agency accepted stolen goods, not aware that a major scandal was brewing. In other words, the DOJ robbed the bank, and the CIA took a share of the plunder.
But the CIA was not the only place where illegal versions of PROMIS cropped up. Canadian documents (held by the House Judiciary Committee and obtained by WIRED) place PROMIS in the hands of various Canadian government agencies. These documents include two letters to Inslaw from Canadian agencies requesting detailed user manuals – even though Inslaw has never sold PROMIS to Canada. Canadian officials now claim the letters were in error.
And, of course, the software was transferred to Rafael Etian’s anti- terrorism unit in Israel. The DOJ claims it was the LEAA version, but former Israeli spy Ben Menashe and others claim it was the 32-bit version. According to Ben Menashe, other government departments within Israel also saw PROMIS, and this time the pitchman was Dr. Earl Brian. In a 1991 affidavit related to the bankruptcy proceedings, Ben Menashe claimed: “I attended a meeting at my Department’s headquarters in Tel Aviv in 1987 during which Dr. Earl W. Brian of the United States made a presentation intended to facilitate the use of the PROMIS computer software.”
“Dr. Brian stated during his presentation that all U.S. Intelligence Agencies, including the Defense Intelligence Agency, the Central Intelligence Agency, and the National Security Agency and the U.S. Department of Justice were then using the PROMIS computer software,” Ben Menashe continued. While the credibility of his statements has been questioned, the Israeli government has admitted that Ben Menashe had access to extremely sensitive information during his tenure at the Mossad.
Asked why Israeli intelligence would have been so interested in Inslaw and PROMIS, Ben Menashe said, “PROMIS was a very big thing for us guys, a very, very big thing ... it was probably the most important issue of the ‘80s because it just changed the whole intelligence outlook. The whole form of intelligence collection changed. This whole thing changed it.” PROMIS, Ben Menashe said, was perfect for tracking Palestinians and other political dissidents.
(Ben Menashe’s superior during this period was Rafael Etian, or Dr. Ben Orr, as he was known during his 1983 visit to Inslaw.)
Apparently, Israel was not the only country interested in using PROMIS for internal security purposes. Lt. Col. Oliver North also may have been using the program. According to several intelligence community sources, PROMIS was in use at a 6,100-square-foot command center built on the sixth floor of the Justice Department. According to both a contractor who helped design the center and information disclosed during the Iran-Contra hearings, Oliver North had a similar, but smaller, White House operations room that was connected by computer link to the DOJ’s command center.
Using the computers in his command center, North tracked dissidents and potential troublemakers within the United States as part of a domestic emergency preparedness program, commissioned under Reagan’s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), according to sources and published reports. Using PROMIS, sources point out, North could have drawn up lists of anyone ever arrested for a political protest, for example, or anyone who had ever refused to pay their taxes. Compared to PROMIS, Richard Nixon’s enemies list or Sen. Joe McCarthy’s blacklist look downright crude. This operation was so sensitive that when Rep. Jack Brooks asked North about it during the Iran-Contra hearings, the hearing was immediately suspended pending an executive (secret) conference. When the hearings were reconvened, the issue of North’s FEMA dealings was dropped.
Epstein’s Zorro Ranch - An Intelligence Operation
Alisa Valdes-Rodriguez, an investigative journalist that has written for the Boston Globe and LA Times published the investigation below showing that Epstein’s Zorro ranch had military-grade encrypted signals equipment, allowing him to send untraceable data that could not be intercepted by a third-party.
The system build this creates is not a ranch internet connection. Data transmitted from the Zorro Ranch main house travels 27.53 miles by encrypted military-grade microwave to the Sandia Crest tower. From there it reaches Vanderhoof’s satellite earth station. From there it goes to orbit. From orbit it can reach anywhere on the planet, untraceable to Zorro Ranch.
William, the local rancher who wrote the original memo, described Sandia Crest as yielding “30% of the bandwidth thru.” That was precisely the point. Epstein was not moving large files. He was not streaming video. He was transmitting something specific, something narrow, something that required hardware-level encryption below the IP stack and a pathway to orbit. He called gigabit bandwidth silly because he didn’t need gigabit bandwidth. He needed something that couldn’t be found.

We will come to realize that it's a VERY small amount of entities forcing their control agenda onto us. As soon as our love for one another outweighs their system of control everything will change. They have no chance. They know 99% outweighs 1%. That's why they're heavily invested in bunkers. Their spell on us is being broken and we will create the future that we desire. It's unstoppable, but their big push to retain control is their dying breath. Let's stsrt imagining our new era now. What do we want!? Equality and happiness for All of us, who are on this planet for a very short time. We deserve it ❤️
